The 16th Avenue Grill opened on May 1, 2009 by the Beschta family. Previously, the restaurant was operated as a Country Kitchen franchise in Cedar Rapids. With decades of experience between the owners, Blane and Joyce Beschta, the 16th Avenue Grill was opened with love. The Beschta family's committment to family-friendly dining has been woven into their menu items, their restaurant design, and the relationships with their long-time customers. Guests at the 16th Avenue Grill can meet Blane and Joyce as they own and operate the restaurant 7-days a week in Cedar Rapids.
